1930s Hohner Club Modell 1 C/F
This is in great condition and has been fully overhauled. It has a fantastic mellow tone with fantastic bass and is one of the nicest small Hohners money can buy . The reeds are the original Zinc plate H type Hohner steel reeds on the treble side and the even better quality Honer zinc T reeds on the bass, All of the reed plates have been removed, thoroughly cleaned and had new modern valves fitted and been re-waxed in to the blocks.
Most of these hohner club boxes are tuned to A=435 which puts you way out of tune with modern instruments, this one has been tuned up to A=440 concert pitch so you will be in tune with your friends!
This is the rare 21 + 4 button model also called the piccola (most of these have a 19 +2 button helper row)
The bass side remains in Club format which gives you an extra Eb bass and Chord . see chart
Bellows are good and tight, we have replaced a few tapes on the body side and they are in overall good condition.
Keyboard The button stops have been replaced and button height set properly
Pallets . All pallets have
been re faced with quality leather / felt and are good and air tight
Case Checked for leaks and re – sealed where necessary
Reeds Cleaned Retuned from old standard 435 to A=440 concert pitch re-waxed and valved.
Valves . All valves replaced with new
Grill cloth . all replaced with new
