Tuning is A=440 with less tremolo than hohner original around 2.9 hz at A 440
All original zinc reeds have been used in this conversion which has been carried out in our workshop. This is now a lovely box to play, still with that great Hohner sound but less hysterical. Being a club it has top quality reeds
The accordion was in very good condition to start with and we have fully refurbished it and fitted a thirds stop to the chords as well
- All reeds removed cleaned
- All reeds have new quality valves fitted
- All wax renewed
- All pallets resurfaced with Felt and Persian leather
- Bellows tape replaced with high quality buckram where necessary
- New bellows gaskets fitted
- Thirds stop fitted to chords
- Inside the case has been cleaned and re-sealed
- Keyboard action adjusted
- Re-tuned to A=440
- Buttons cleaned and re-polished
- Brand new bass strap fitted
