The Habla is a Swiss Club accordion, i assume they were something to do with the old HABLA Tab system. the craftsmanship in this box is truly incredible if you look at the pictures there are absolutely no screws or other fastenings visible on the outside of the box, it has an internal automatic bellows lock so no straps, real mother of pearl buttons lovely hand pierced front and rear grilles, all of the internal parts are made from Brass, it is almost as if a Swiss clock maker decided to make an accordion! Even the pallets have been cut around each other and each fastened on with a little gold dot, the attention to detail in this thing is mindblowing
This has had very little use from new and is in exceptional condition for an accordion from the 1930’s the reeds are not waxed but screwed onto the reedblocks and i have brought them into modern concert pitch (A=440) as well as relacing all of the valves
This is genuinely a collectors item which plays as well as it looks
