Here we have a truly fantastic Hohner 1600 in GC Black
This accordion is like new and is even in it’s original cardboard box. This accordion is unmarked and as it left the factory (we have never seen one of these in this condition before).
The original leather valves had dried out so we have had to replace them with modern valves and all reeds have been re-waxed and any tuning required has been carried out. Other than that we have left this alone as it is just so original that we can’t bring ourselves to do anything over and above making it playable
The reeds are all original Hohner H reeds
The tuning is modern A=440 concert pitch . This is an as-new accordion at half the list price of a new pokerwork and is an amazing piece of history.
