Hohner Koch D/G conversion with thirds stop

Description

A fully restored Hohner Koch on DG Melodeon

A 1930’s model these were made by hohner and were a two row similar in design to the model 1

This was the original pokerwork as we know it but being from the ’30s it has the nicer old zinc reed plates and is all round better made than the post war versions

We have completely stripped this one down, and everything has been done to make this a great playing box.  This has it’s original Hohner zinc plate  H type reeds.  A thirds stop has been fitted to give greater chord flexibility.  We always aim to restore a box so that it keeps it’s character but plays as well as it can.
