A Hohner Morino N in C/F in very good condition
The Morino is a 5 voice cassotto equipped melodeon LMMMH the 10 treble registers plus the master switch enable it to be played L, M, H, LMMM, MMM, MMMH, MH, LH, LMH, LM and of course LMMMH. The bass end is a true 12 bass but with an odd chord combination for the extra two basses (see layout chart) it has two registers one to remove the low bass and one to remove the low chord it is a full three voice Bass and Three voice Chord, The low bass reeds are Helikon type in so far as they have a tone chamber built in to the block
These have often been hacked about to have Mics fitted, either that or played to death professionally, This example is in very good condition, there is minimal scratching to the case and the reeds have only been very lightly tuned throughout its life. it has been kept in, and comes with it’s original case it is in C/F as most of these were.
The Morino was built to the standards of the very best accordions and i know of nothing which compares today
