A lovely 1930’s (the best era for quality) Pressed Wood in GC
We have completely stripped this one down, and everything has been done to make this a great playing box. This has it’s original Hohner zinc plate H type GC reeds. A thirds stop has been fitted to give greater chord flexibility. We always aim to restore a box so that it keeps it’s character but plays as well as it can.
- Bellows completely refurbished with all new bellows tape and
- New bellows gasket
- Case sealed and french polished
- All buttons removed and re-polished
- Button height set so no buttons down holes
- All pallet facings replaced
- Keyboard mechanism cleaned and de-greased
- All reeds removed, cleaned, tuned, re-valved and re-waxed
